ATHLETICS
My name is Jamie Stevens. I have been a part of GFCC since it reopened in fall of 2000. I am excited to be your Director of Athletics & Activities. I am married to my husband Matt Stevens. I have two boys Tyler (21) & Remick (11). I enjoy watching sports, camping, traveling and spending time with my family. In my younger years I was a gymnast, volleyball player, majorette, and rode horses. I started coaching at the age of 15 and now 28 years later, I am still enjoying coaching. My door is always open for athletes and parents. I am blessed to work with such amazing athletes and families.
The Great Falls Central Catholic High School Athletics Program strives to provide the best opportunities beyond the school day for students to excel in knowledge, skill, teamwork, self discipline, and moral character. Our purpose is to provide each athlete with experiences that will be positive, formative in our Catholic values while fostering teamwork, responsibility, loyalty, good sportsmanship, fortitude, and a deeper knowledge of the sport. Participating in high school athletics is a privilege that carries with it honor, responsibility, and sacrifice. GFCCHS has graduated several athletes who have competed in the Collegiate arena. We are proud of our seasoned coaching staff and their dedication to mentoring our Mustang Athletes.
I look forward to meeting you!
God Bless,
Mrs. Stevens

Philosophy:
To create an environment that encourages a positive team atmosphere with a strong commitment to excellence. The cross country program will promote and encourage a lifestyle committed to success as a student and athlete. The program will strive to communicate that pride, dedication, commitment and patience will lead to success, not only as a student-athlete, but as a person throughout their lives.
Expectations:
The expectation for each athlete is to make a strong commitment to excellence. This commitment requires each athlete to attend all practices and meets for the duration or their season. This will require dedication in the classroom and in the student-athletes daily lives. Unexcused absences from practice or meets will not be acceptable or tolerated. Successful distance running requires a strong commitment in which daily attendance is mandatory.
The student-athlete will find it necessary to be disciplined in all facets of their life if they wish to successfully complete the cross country season. Those that make this choice will find cross country to be an extremely rewarding experience.
Goals:
The goal of the cross country program is to provide a fun, safe, positive and goal oriented environment for the student-athlete. The program will commit to achieving and sustaining a competitive team seeking both individual and team success.
Any student-athlete, regardless of ability, willing to contribute to this philosophy is a welcome member of the cross country team.
